My Service

I provide a fast, friendly, efficient and professional yacht and boat surveying service. I can undertake pre-purchase surveys, routine insurance surveys (usually required by insurance companies on older vessels) or surveys to look at specific aspects of a boat as required by the customer.

As well as the usual structural and safety issues, I am also able to undertake detailed inspections of electrical and electronic systems if required.

I am both a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Marine Engineer and a full member of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology.

I carry full professional indemnity and third party insurance. 

Following a survey, I provide the additional service of discussing any points of concern to the owner of a vessel, free of charge for a period of up to two years following the survey. A substantial discount will also be offered for subsequent surveys.
